Prospecting should come incorporated naturally into your daily living. Every day you interact with other people, yes every day! You just need to pay attention to these people you interact with daily. When you prospect, feel, look and act confident. Do not appear as if you are desperately in need to recruit. This is what I call poise. Poise will make you appear and look strong. This way people can feel the confidence and will easily put their confidence back and listen to you.

When setting your target market, always have in mind your preference of people to work with. This is important. I suggest that you always make “attitude” as one of your criteria when setting your preference. List down all the criteria of the people you want to work with. Then out of this list of criteria, you will be able to come up with your target market. Once your target market is set, keep a list of your daily prospecting plan. Then do it!

  • Cold Calling

You had better get good at cold calling. Up to now, cold calling still works in prospecting! Always prepare your list of people to call before doing your cold call. In addition, when you talk to a prospect make it short and simple! Control the conversation to shorten it. Do not over talk.


  •     Socialize


Alan Kippax update highly recommend you to socialize; build your prospect list every day! Alan Kippax who is a very successful network marketer is also a very sociable person. There are definitely many networking groups near you. Go out; join these networking groups for a purpose of widening your network. Join community groups in your area and meet new people. Set a working dine out every day. You can go to any of your favorite coffee shops or go to your favorite lunch restaurant. Set up your laptop and do your business there. However, do not be so busy with your business work. Pay attention to the people around you, and spot a chance to get to know one, two or three people every time. This adds up to your lead list.

  •    Get Referrals!

      Some people are just so afraid in asking for referrals. Learn the effective ways to get referrals. You may encounter prospects who are not ready to join your network of distributors yet. They can be people who are ready to refer some people who are looking or ready to join the business.


  •    Social Media


      Social Media is IN. Yes, definitely the social media place is an excellent place to network. Facebook for one is definitely an excellent place to network. Alan Kippax and his latest MLM company Homerun International is really utilizing social media for its network base. When you network through social media, do not be excited and immediately present your business to your new acquaintance. Know them more first. Build a relationship. Build Trust. Then find out how you can help them. If you see a chance that presenting to them your business is one way that you can help them, then that is the only time you start presenting your business to them.



       Alan Kippax update says that once you get to establish the effective prospecting method that deemed effective to you, do the job consistently. Regardless of how great your plan is, it will not work unless you work on it! Spend time, real time to learn and perfect your skill in prospecting. When you build your Prospecting Skill, you are just not building your marketing skill but a life skill. This will make you rich in network marketing. As Robert Kiyosaki wrote, “The richest people in the world look for and build networks. Everyone else looks for work.”
