- It is important to have your target market set
When setting your target market, always have in mind your preference of people to work with. This is important. I suggest that you always make “attitude” as one of your criteria when setting your preference. List down all the criteria of the people you want to work with. Then out of this list of criteria, you will be able to come up with your target market. Once your target market is set, keep a list of your daily prospecting plan. Then do it!
- Cold Calling
You had better get good at cold calling. Up to now, cold calling still works in prospecting! Always prepare your list of people to call before doing your cold call. In addition, when you talk to a prospect make it short and simple! Control the conversation to shorten it. Do not over talk.
- Socialize

There are definitely many networking groups near you. Go out; join these networking groups for a purpose of widening your network. Join community groups in your area and meet new people. Set a working dine out every day. You can go to any of your favorite coffee shops or go to your favorite lunch restaurant. Set up your laptop and do your business there. However, do not be so busy with your business work. Pay attention to the people around you, and spot a chance to get to know one, two or three people every time. This adds up to your lead list.
